1. J is officially a CJ captain and ATP!!!
This January, J went to Flight Safety for training on the Citation Jet. After two full weeks of classroom and simulator training, he passed his checkride with flying colors (no pun intended!) I'm so proud of my husband for this accomplishment in his career. We have been waiting for this opportunity for a long time and after going through possible job ending 3 times last year, we both finally feel secure in his employment. He now has a 2 year commitment with the bank and so it is also a relief that we will be in the area for at least 2 more years. With this accomplishment, he now holds the highest certificate that a pilot can have. Way to go Babe!
2. 2 weeks away!
Like I said, J was gone for 2 full weeks to Texas. This is the longest that we have ever been apart. I being at home with little J day and night, finally realized how much single moms have to go through, not to mention the additional job to throw in there! I will admit, when J comes home it is such a relief to see a little help walk through the door on a difficult day.
3. Trip to Georgia
During the time that j was gone, I jumped at the opportunity to visit family and friends from my stomping grounds. A dear friend was having a baby shower while I was there and I was able to keep my visit a surprise until at her home. The reaction was priceless!!! I was also able to spend quality time with family and enjoy having 4 generations in one house! Truely moments to remember! Here are a few pics from the trip.
